1. About MindQuilt
MindQuilt ("we", "us", or "our") is an online platform that provides free mental health educational content and a directory of independent, licensed mental health professionals. By using MindQuilt you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Educational Content Only
All blog articles and content on MindQuilt are for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for mental health concerns.
3. Expert Directory
Experts listed on MindQuilt are independent licensed professionals. They are not employees of MindQuilt. We perform basic verification of credentials but cannot guarantee clinical outcomes. Your relationship is directly with the expert you choose to engage.
4. Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree not to use MindQuilt for any unlawful purpose.
5. Privacy
Your use of MindQuilt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
6. Payments and Bookings
Session fees are paid directly to the expert or processed via third-party payment links (Stripe). MindQuilt does not hold your payment information. All sales are final unless otherwise agreed with the expert.
7. No Crisis Service
MindQuilt is not a crisis intervention service. Do not rely on this platform during a mental health emergency. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on MindQuilt, including articles, design, and code, is owned by MindQuilt or its content contributors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
MindQuilt is provided "as is". We disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MindQuilt after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
